Thus I'm tempted now to say
Yet as I look out upon the earth,
Drenched in raindrops, I concur
That though I may not readily call it "beautiful"
The rain is not really all so 'dreary'ful
As water bursting from the clouds
Washes roads and trickles down
The thunder and lightning --quite a display
Me thinks that rain may be okay...
So long as rainboots from a certain bestfriend of mine
Shield my toes and keep me dry :)
I can appreciate the beauty that the rain yields
As green, soon after, adorns the fields...
I like that rain gives chance anew
Refreshing parched plants --and people too!
The wind splashes raindrops against my window...
Lil sparkling gems of water, clinging to the glass
Sparkling and gleaming, teeming with potential
Maybe not so 'dreary'ful
Water streams down the road
I want to sit by a window and watch the storm unfold
And the subsequent calm, beauty untold
I look for the sun...
It's absent today...
But, rain, you don't have to go away...
Just promise you won't overstay
Your welcome : )

Not so 'dreary'ful at all :-)
